Spring 2023 Outstanding Graduate Savannah Prida

The New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences Outstanding Graduate for Spring 2023 is Savannah Prida, earning a Master in social justice and human rights. Prida realized in high school how differently people think from each other and wanted to bridge communication gaps. Through her internship at ASU, she interviewed formerly incarcerated individuals in South Africa for two months. Prida seeks to advocate for others by representing them legally or attaining her PhD in criminology to support them on the policy side. "Professor Smith-Cannoy has been awesome. She's been my mentor for going on like three years now. It's a level of academic support that I didn't really expect to get in college, but I have been happily surprised." 🔔 Subscribe:    / asu   About ASU: Recognized by U.S. News & World Report as the country’s most innovative school, Arizona State University is where students and faculty work with NASA to develop, advance and lead innovations in space exploration.
