Super Smash Bros. Brawl -- 21 August 2009, Friends Matches #8

So yeah, this brawl was posted a long while ago...and it was actually played quite a while before that. I guess I've been incredibly lazy coupled with a sort of writer's block...or rather some kind of lacking motivation rather than any inability to write. So...uh...for the uh...three people who actually read what I have to say and watch my videos regularly, this one's for you! ...if you actually read old video descriptions! ...and to anybody else, welcome, isn't it just the "best" having to endure my long-winded ramblings? Congratulations, you're part of it! --- I probably don't say this enough, but I really love Mushroomy Kingdom...especially the 1-2 variant. And I really like this song, too. I like how vastly different from every other stage it is, even the wacky ones like 75m, Mario Bros., and Rumble Falls. There are just so many things that can happen in so many unexpected ways...and we're lucky enough to have TWO stages like this for the price of one! Also, be very sure to exercise proper hammer safety...those things can go off like that and WHAM...somebody's put their eye out! Oh, and seeing this, I'm reminded...I usually avoid putting too many repeat appearances of a character in one video, usually opting to shuffle around the matches from their original battle order (although I'll try to maintain the proper "boundaries" between when players join and leave the group), I'm going to point out the obvious here and state that I do like to throw repeat character showings when I find them to be more meaningful together than alone. Like the matches a little while back where Spear Pillar played host to two sets of "twins" in a row, I'm going to call this series a sort of salute to Jigglypuff. It seems the knee-jerk reaction is to dismiss her as a sort of inherently flawed or wimpy character, but let me tell you, I've seen some incredible stuff done with her...and I don't just mean timing-freaks who can land Rest all the time...because that's hardly the most effective of strategies, it's just being a hotdog. Not like they don't likely have the skills to back it up, but still...
