On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, PBKNY's Diversity & Inclusion Committee hosted a discussion (moderated by D&I Co-Chair Nicole Lancia) featuring Alejandro Ortiz , an attorney with the ACLU Racial Justice Program. In this video, he provides a brief overview and history of the 1901 U.S. Supreme Court cases, known as the Insular Cases, and their relevance today.
