Let's Play NWN2: Storm of Zehir #30: Random Encounters

We leave the Dragon Cave and head southward, inquiring at Leilon about setting up a trade outpost, but it is too expensive. We then run into a pack of enraged worgs and pass a survival check to determine where they originated from. After battling them, we run into a creature handler who has a pet wyvern. He claims to be a part of Mooney and Sons Traveling Circus, but his wyvern's wing was injured in a bandit attack. We heal the wyvern and they fly to Waterdeep to perform. We then run into a band of orcs known as Ograth's Marauders and find out they are about to engage in a rite of Gruumsh to consecrate Ograth as an Eye of Gruumsh. Part of this rite involves battling us to the death to prove their strength, but we bluff them into thinking there is an elf encampment nearby. Heading north, we encounter a mob of slaves revolting against a Thayan Red Wizard and his knight protectors. We kill all of them, but there seems to be no benefit whatsoever to doing so. We then loop around Crossroad Keep and find the entrance to the worg cave, and we find a town known as Thundertree. We establish an outpost there, set up a caravan to Crossroad Keep carrying lumber, and load up on some lumber ourselves to trade with another town. We then enter the worg cave and are attacked by enraged worg pups.
