Flex it! Oh wait, wrong game. This is Machoman's third appearance, and he's back to stop you from getting the world title. He's got a few new tricks as well, so be prepared. First, his hook and jab punches are quite quick, so you need to train yourself to dodge as soon as you recognize the animation. For his specials, the first three are signified by what exercise program he chooses. Program A is four jabs, Program B is three body blows, and Program C is three uppercuts, so react appropriately. His other specials are variants on his clothesline attack. First, he can shake his fist which means he'll spin around once. However, as you knock him down, he increasingly uses his multiple clothesline attack which is indicated by him stepping back and pausing. When he does this he can spin up to five times before stopping. The key to this fight is memorizing the tells for each of his attacks. They are quite obvious for the most part. My speed strategy for Machoman isn't really that great as I was feeling lazy. It works, and is still fairly quick; I just didn't wait out the luck based parts of the fight. To get the best time, you have to hope he doesn't do a program after he gets knocked down. Here's my strategy. Lower his guard (lower your gloves) 1 Left Jab Delayed Right Jab Counter-punch 2 Left Body Blows 1 Right Jab Delayed Left Body Blow Counter-punch 2 Left Body Blows 1 Super Hook Dizzy 1 Super Hook as he moves back towards you (he's got one hilarious dizzy animation, so don't loose focus) Knockdown From here there are two branching paths IF HE USES A PROGRAM EXERCISE : Block/dodge the program 1 Left Body Blow 1 Super Uppercut Delayed Left Body Blow Counter-punch 1 Super Uppercut Knockdown IF HE USES A REGULAR PUNCH : Delayed Left Body Blow Counter-punch 1 Super Uppercut Delayed Right Jab Counter-punch 1 Super Uppercut Knockdown EITHER PATH LEADS TO HERE : Dodge his clothesline attack Rapid Jabs Knockdown Obviously, you want him to do the regular punch after he gets knocked down, but I just couldn't be bothered when I recorded this.
