3I/ATLAS: Suspected to Carry Biosignatures from Mars and Mercury – Avi Loeb

On November 24, NASA released a full data dump from 15 spacecraft that tracked the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS, also called ThreeI Atlast. For a brief moment, nearly every major eye in space turned toward a single visitor. What they recorded does not fit neatly into any familiar category. • A symmetric teardrop profile wrapped in a dark, stealth like shell • A vast hydrogen halo hinting at unusual internal heating • Rhythmic non gravitational acceleration and a “chosen” low inclination orbit • Radar echoes that look like segmented plates instead of rough rock • A clean outbound maneuver as Atlast dimmed faster than models predict NASA teams describe ThreeI Atlast as a natural relic shaped by processes we do not yet understand. Michio Kaku and Avi Loeb argue that the numbers at least justify asking whether Atlast could be a form of technology, while others push for extreme but still natural explanations. Alongside hints of dimethyl sulfide on K2 18b, salty flows and lava tubes on Mars, sprites in Earth’s upper atmosphere, and possible meteorites from Mercury, ThreeI Atlast has become the central thread in a growing tapestry of anomalies. Together they suggest that either nature is far stranger than our textbooks admit, or we are seeing the first outlines of intentions that do not start on Earth.
