Wide of procession STORYLINE: Thousands took to the streets of Baghdad's Sadr City neighbourhood on Monday for the funerals of 32 Shiite pilgrims killed in a suicide bombing in Karradah neighbourhood, central Baghdad on Sunday. Mourners marched alongside ten caskets beating their chests and shouting, 'There is no God but Allah,' and 'We will never forget Hussein," as they moved along the road. The pilgrims were killed when a suicide car bomber rammed a truck that was bringing about 70 men and boys home from Karbala in southern Iraq, where millions of Shiites gathered over the weekend. At least 32 were killed and 24 injured, hospital officials said. Iraqi security officials have struggled to protect the annual pilgrimage to mark the end of 40 days mourning for the 7th century battlefield death of the Prophet Muhammad's grandson.
