Toronto is a place flooded with shiny, gleaming towers with all mod-con architecture. For a girl like me preferring a quiet city was stunned to see how much more the city has to offer! There was no better way to start off the tour of Toronto than to take a calming walk around the soothing Lakeshore area at the Harbourfront followed by a lively Water Taxi ride to Toronto Island. (If you want to save a buck or two, then carry in cash with you for your ride to the Islands via water taxi). Toronto Cente Island is a stunning place for a day out with family or friends. It was like a one-stop activities hub for everyone, from snow-white swan watching to taking a nice dip into the crystal clear beach to go on a long cycling ride with your entire family. Or for those preferring a cable car ride to people like me wishing to absorb the serenity at the shore - the Islands would not disappoint you! I happen to meet two friends of mine after 7 long years so the day could not have ended any well! We strolled around the CN Tower & the downtown until our energy to walk around was exhausted! It all was worthwhile! :)
