Paradise lost -- for Jehovah's Witnesses (6) Isaiah 13,14 & inconsistent interpretation

The Watchtower writers and researchers, to their credit, have dispensed much good information over the decades about the prophetic reliability of the Bible. Books and articles, distributed by the millions, have stressed the literal fulfilment of Old Testament predictions about Babylon, Nineveh and other close neignbours of ancient Israel. Unfortunately, such necessary apologetics, in defence of the Bible's inspiration and infallibility, is used to draw the unsuspecting reader into trusting an organization which is neither inspired nor infallible. This "bait and switch" message creates faith in a religion which has a perfect record when it comes to prediction -- 100% failure. This consistent failure is largely due to the inconsistent, spiritualizing interpretive method practised by the Watchtower. This inconsistency is made inevitable by Watchtower claims that THEIR leaders constitute the "true Israel", "spiritual Israel" etc.
