To prevent Samsung TV Plus from auto-starting on your Samsung Smart TV and default to an HDMI input, disable the “Autorun TV Plus” and “Autorun Last App” settings in your TV’s menu. Steps to Disable Automatic Samsung TV Plus Startup Access Settings: Press the Home button on your Samsung remote. Navigate to Settings or All Settings depending on your model Go to General - Smart Features. Locate Autorun Samsung TV Plus and toggle it OFF.
