A new clinical trial from UC Davis Health explores a promising new treatment for retinitis pigmentosa (RP) — a rare genetic eye disease that causes progressive vision loss and even blindness. Dr. Susanna Park and her team are using gene-agnostic stem cell therapy to help patients with RP, regardless of their genetic mutation.
