The Search for Dr. Young | Batman: Arkham Asylum Let's Play | Part 4

Hi. I'm Brandon. And I like to play video games. I've been playing the Batman: Arkham series since 2013. These games and Batman: The Animated Series are the reason I am the massive Batman and DC comics fan that I am and as such they are very near and dear to my heart. This year, 2024, marks the 15th anniversary of the Batman: Arkham series, and while, as I said earlier, I've been playing the games for over a decade now, I've never played them on a difficulty higher than Normal Mode. So to celebrate the 15th anniversary of one of my favourite game series from my childhood, I decided to challenge myself by playing this game on Hard Mode for the first time. (I apologize for the graininess of the gameplay footage. I'm still figuring out how to use my capture card and OBS most effectively.) I am playing the Game of the Year edition of this game on the Xbox 360. Last time, I faced off with Scarecrow, rescued Commissioner Gordon from Harley Quinn, and learned that Joker had secretly hired Dr. Young to create a stronger version of the drug Venom using Bane as a test subject, so he could create an army of hulking monsters to march on Gotham. Dr. Young figured out his plan and tried to get away, so Joker allowed himself to be captured and brought to Arkham Island so he could create his army himself. Dr. Young's hidden her notes somewhere in the Arkham Mansion. Upon arriving through the front door, I was blocked by an electrified security gate. If I want to get past it, and get to Dr. Young's notes before Joker does, I'll need to find another way in.
