Fave VGM #271: "Celes' Theme" ~ Nobuo Uematsu

Celes Chere was a general of the Empire who was jailed for questioning imperial practices. She was saved by the treasure hunter Locke Cole and joined the resistance called the Returners. Locke is by far one of my favorite party members of Final Fantasy 6 which remains as one of my all-time favorite RPGs. Throughout the game, I felt a touching chemistry between Locke and Celes and I tried to show that in the video with Celes' theme playing in the background. Whenever I hear her theme I think of the opera where she sung and remember how moving it was.
