When the Avanti was originally designed, there was a thought to producing a four door model. After the collapse of Studebaker, Avanti lived on, and this four door sedan, along with the coupe and convertilble were produced. Unfortunately, sales never amounted to much, supposedly because too much effort was used in producing this sedan, to the neglect of the coupe and convertible. It wasn't sufficient to save Avanti...although after this sedan, another entrepreneur had tried, using Mustang chassis. I have videos of same on this channel.
