Commercial Breaks—KSAZ-TV10 Phoenix—September 16, 2003

From a syndicated rerun of the WILL & GRACE episode "Cheaters, Pt. 1". Channel 10 took to the air on October 24, 1953 as KOOL-TV, owned by legendary singing cowboy Gene Autry, who owned it alongside Tom Chauncey until it was sold (along with all of Autry's other stations) to Gulf Broadcasting in 1982. In 1984, Gulf passed the torch of channel 10 to Taft, which restructured itself as Great American Broadcasting in 1987 and as Citicasters in 1993. Originally a CBS station, it adopted the Fox affiliation on December 14, 1994 (it got its current call letters some ten months prior). The station served as an independent for three months and thirty-two days prior, as it ended its 41-year obligation to CBS on September 12, 1994. From October 1953 to May 1954, channel 10 was a shared-time station (and one of a number of said stations that existed during that time), with KOOL-TV sharing time with the Prairie Farmer-owned KOY-TV (https://web.archive.org/web/201703011... ).
