the lost princess // jim&cinderella

READ THE DESCRIPTION FOR THE STORYLINE I've had this idea for a while but only just got round to doing it! This took forever to make and even longer to render, so I hope you enjoy it! I think I'm a bit obsessed with Sleeping At Last's songs, so I will absolutely be using more of them in the future! STORYLINE: Cinderella is a princess who hates being a princess. She sees all the commoners and wishes she was free like them, instead of having to conform to what is expected of her as a princess. One day it all gets too much so she runs away. She gets a job working at Lady Tremaine's house under a fake name. Also working there is Jim, who Lady Tremaine is desperately trying to set up with Anastasia, and Silver, the chef. As Jim and Cindy begin to talk more and more, they start to have feelings for each other, despite Anastasia's attempts at winning his heart. Whilst out in the village, Jim sees 'Missing Person' posters for Cinderella. He takes one and confronts her about it. She reveals she's the missing princess and tells him she's sorry for not telling him but she's worried that if someone finds out, she'll be sent back to the palace and she doesn't want to go back or lose Jim. He says he won't tell and reassures her that she won't lose him. Lady Tremaine overhears the conversation and, wanting Jim to marry Anastasia, plans to send Cindy back to the palace for good. Later, Anastasia and Drizella are teasing Cinderella. When Cindy fights back and begs them to stop, Lady Tremaine produces the poster and reads it out, shocking the two sisters and worrying both Jim and Cindy as now her secret is out. Cinderella begs her not to return her to the palace, saying that she has to stay because she hates the palace and loves Jim but Lady Tremaine refuses. Cinderella is returned to the palace and to a life of misery, where she finds out she's betrothed to Prince Charming, which she is upset about as she has feelings for Jim. (By the way, in this, Prince Charming's father from the films is now Cinderella's father instead as Cinderella was born into royalty). On Cinderella's wedding day, Jim stops the wedding and Cinderella runs away with him. They get on a boat, and although Cinderella is sad about leaving her old life, she is excited about the prospect of a new life with Jim.
