Theft from Auto 3801 Germantown Ave DC# 13-39-032051

The Philadelphia Police Department is looking to identify the suspect who stole a GPS from a parked vehicle in Tioga. On May 13, 2013, at 3:15am, an unknown male on a bike was captured on surveillance video on the 3800 block of Germantown Avenue looking into vehicles and checking the doors. A short time later the suspect crosses to the odd side of the street and breaks out the passenger side window of a parked Mazda and takes a Garmin GPS (Global Positioning System) valued at $300 from the vehicle. The suspect then fled the area on a bike in an unknown direction. Suspect Description: Black male, late teens to early 20 years-of-age, wearing a dark jacket, camouflage pants, possibly wearing glasses and riding a mountain bike.
