Durante gran parte del episodio me sentí triste, y al llegar al final estuve literalmente entre lágrimas. Aunque el rumbo general era algo predecible, un twist inesperado terminó de cerrar la historia de una forma que dejó ese sentimiento de vacío y melancolía que solo algunos juegos logran provocar. En lo personal, Mafia: The Old Country se lleva un 7/10, gracias a su narrativa, gameplay, banda sonora y un final casi perfecto. Si hubiera terminado de otra forma, sin duda habría sido un 8/10. Ambientado en una era donde el honor, la familia y el crimen lo son todo, este juego nos lleva a los orígenes del mundo mafioso con una historia cruda y cinematográfica, donde cada decisión tiene consecuencias y la lealtad siempre está en juego. Throughout most of the episode, I felt a deep sense of sadness, and by the end, I was genuinely on the verge of tears. Even though the overall direction felt somewhat predictable, an unexpected twist brought everything together and left that lingering feeling of emptiness and melancholy that only certain games can deliver. Personally, I’d rate Mafia: The Old Country a 7/10, thanks to its narrative, gameplay, soundtrack, and an almost perfect ending. Had it ended slightly differently, it easily could’ve been an 8/10. Set in an era where honor, family, and crime define everything, Mafia: The Old Country takes us to the origins of the mafia world through a raw, cinematic story where every decision has consequences and loyalty is constantly tested.
