Tensions are high in the Central Russian town of Pugachyov after former paratrooper Ruslan Marzhanov was allegedly killed by a Chechen teenager. Hundreds of people have been protesting for days following Marzhanov's death at the weekend. He was fatally stabbed, reportedly during a street brawl. Some of the demonstrators have been calling for ethnic Chechens to be driven out of the town.
