St. Thomas Aquinas of the Roman Catholic Church was a Dominican friar and priest of the Middle Ages who wrote the famous Summa Theologica. Despite having been heavily influenced by Muslim thinkers such as ibn Rushd, ibn Sina, and al-Ghazali, Aquinas made a number of harsh statements against Islam.
