Visiting Shiprock, New Mexico, with My Family, December 31, 2025. Shiprock is roughly 1,600 feet high, and it's located in Navajo Nation. While we were there, there were a few other visitors who also stopped by. Some also flew their drones their to get video footage. The place is very remote and very quiet, so much so that if you talk loud enough towards the rock formation, you can hear an echo of your own voice.
