Bow hunting Colorado Elk “Show Me The Bulls” S11/E04 Trevon Stoltzfus invites good friend Aaron Ray of Missouri to hunt elk in Colorado. Traditionally a whitetail hunter, Aaron now gets to experience the thrills of bowhunting elk. The crew starts off the trip by glassing the property to try and locate animals. After hearing a bull bugle they are in business. Quentin and Trevon talk about what habitat elk prefer and good tactics for elk hunting. With the frustration of windy conditions and very hot days making the calling in of a mature bull very difficult so the group utilizes stands and blinds in transition zones to effectively hunt the elk.
