Delhi's air quality remains in the 'very poor' category, with the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 381. A thick layer of smog has covered the national capital and adjoining cities like Gurugram and Noida, with areas such as Anand Vihar and Bhawana recording 'severe' AQI levels above 400. In response, the Delhi government has issued an advisory for private offices to operate with 50% staff capacity under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) Stage 3, as directed by the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM). A resident stated, 'something needs to be done to stop it. Otherwise, we won't be able to see each other standing next to each other'.
