The Korean War resulted in great losses and hardships, one of which was the loss of orphans who lost loved ones. North Korea, in agreement with the socialist world, sent the orphans abroad to be raised and educated. This was a necessary investment, thanks to which North Korea would eventually acquire "new," ideologically loyal residents who would further develop the country. For these orphans, the secret operation they participated in and the center in Płakowice where they spent several years became a part of their lives they longed for after returning to Korea. You can learn about the fate of these orphans in the Polish People's Republic and their stay in Płakowice in this film. #korea #northkorea You can buy me a virtual coffee here.
