Inuit throat singing in Montreal's Cabot Square

Every summer, the Cabot Square Project promotes concerts and cultural events in west-downtown to create a space for Indigenous and non-Indigenous residents to connect. The Beatrice Deer Band played at Cabot Square on Friday, August 18, 2017, and soapstone carvers taught children how to make Inuit art. It was the last event of the season, but Nakuset, the project’s organizer, said the shows will be back next year.
