WKRC Promos 1985-1991

Finally, a definitive copy of (almost) everything I did at WKRC that was worth a damn (my Nick Clooney stuff is MIA for now). So many memories. It has (of course) the Tim Hedrick / 'Weather Beacon" promo; the Ken Broo introduction campaign (including the "Field of Dreams" take off), a lot of the "New 1-2" stuff (ugh; not my idea but we did what we could), the spectacular open for "Live at 7" by Glenna Yancy, the Tim Hedrick "Farmer" promo by Andy Hignite (with Carl Dilhoff's father!); Rob Braun's introduction promo as the main anchor; "12 at 12" by Lisa Miller (along with many other great spots by her); the (now late) Mike Anderson in a "Life After Life" series promo (again by Lisa), Andy Hignite's incredible "Crimestoppers" promo (my voice is heard on the phone). Also not to be forgotten is the gorgeous "Sports Page" open (Glenna), and of course the infamous "Make A Note of It" promo (I slapped a Post 'Em note on the screen over a wide shot of the anchors). The Neilsen ratings people flagged the promo for being "too overt" (?) and I had to pull it. Other Promo Superstars involved are Nick Belperio, Paul Morel, Patty Swanson, Tracy Townsend, Stacy Reid, Lee Cooley, and Steve Fine. I was lucky to work there and work with them.
