Weekend storm could bring snow to Connecticut and New England

Rain could change to snow for part of the state on Saturday. Accumulating snow is more likely in the hills but we can't rule it out inland either. Friday starts dry with increasing clouds and the chance for showers later in the day or at night. Rain will fill in heading into Saturday morning as a developing nor'easter approaches. Then rain could change to a period of snow. The question is when and where does that happen. Normally this far in advance I would have a snow map made for you. But because this remains a highly uncertain forecast we need to wait. One possible outcome is rain changing to snow Saturday morning accompanied by strong gusty winds. This could result in significant accumulations, especially in the hills.
