Never Lose Hope In The Mercy Of Allah | Qul Ya Ibadi Allazina Anfusihim | Surah Az Zumar - Ayat 53

In this Ramadan Hadith Series - Daily Goals video, we explore the powerful message of Surah Az Zumar - Ayat 53, "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'" This ayat is a beautiful reminder that no matter how many mistakes we make or how far we may feel from Allah's mercy, we should never lose hope in His forgiveness. Furthermore, there are several ahadith that emphasize the importance of having hope in Allah's mercy. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His slave than a person who has his camel in a waterless desert carrying his provision of food and drink and it is lost. He, having lost all hope (to get that back), lies down in shade and is disappointed about his camel; when all of a sudden he finds that camel standing before him. He takes hold of its reins and then out of boundless joy blurts out: 'O Allah, You are my slave and I am Your Rubb'. He commits this mistake out of extreme joy" (Sahih Muslim 2749). This hadith shows that Allah's mercy is vast and limitless, and even when we may feel lost or hopeless, we should never give up on seeking His forgiveness. It is through repentance and seeking forgiveness that we can find solace and comfort in Allah's mercy. So let us always remember this ayat and the ahadith that remind us to never lose hope in the mercy of Allah. No matter how many times we may stumble and fall, we can always turn back to Him and seek His forgiveness with sincerity and humility.
