Hidden Blue Lakes Inside a Cave?! 😮 | Family Vanlife Spain

We’ve been living full-time vanlife as a family since last October, travelling across Europe in our motorhome. And naturally, our kids miss their extended family back in Malta — so this is Part 2 of the surprise visit we organised for them. In this episode of our family vanlife journey in Spain, we explore the beautiful town of Aracena in Andalusia - a place we had never even heard of before, yet one that turned out to be more than worth the drive. As we moved from one experience to another, we didn’t just make memories, but also picked up a few life lessons that we’re happy to share with you. The highlight of this episode? Well, according to most of us, it was what many consider to be one of the most beautiful cave systems in Spain - he Gruta de las Maravillas - though not all of us agreed 😄 And of course… chocolate 😄 We visit a chocolate factory using a special plant-based ingredient instead of milk — something we really appreciated as a vegan family travelling Europe. But after all the fun and exploration, comes the most dreaded part - saying goodbye. Zwischen Abenteuern, neuen Eindrücken und kleinen Lebenslektionen war das Highlight für die meisten von uns die Gruta de las Maravillas — eines der beeindruckendsten Höhlensysteme Spaniens… auch wenn nicht alle ganz derselben Meinung waren 😄 Und natürlich… Schokolade 😄 Eine Manufaktur mit einer pflanzlichen Alternative zu Milch — perfekt für uns als vegane Familie. Und am Ende bleibt wie immer das Schwerste: Abschied nehmen.
