Building A Log Cabin | Ep. 6 | We have 40 logs! Halfway there

We worked extra hard in November to get as many trees cut and debarked before winter hits. We have a total of 40 logs debarked and ready for building in the spring. We estimate that we would need around 80 to build the cabin, so we're halfway there! In this episode, we fell one of the tallest trees so far. We were able to get 2 solid logs out of it! The bigger of the 2 was too heavy for us to lift and carry up the hill, so instead we decided to roll it on discarded ends of logs. It was a fun and exhausting challenge! Music: www.bensound.com
