Teen in hot soup over joyride

A 15-year-old disabled teenager is now in hot soup after he was nabbed by police for riding a motorcycle without a license in Kuala Lumpur early this morning. It is understood the minor took his mother's motorcycle without her knowledge for a joyride in the city with his friend. A total of 348 summons were issued to errant motorists during the three-hour traffic police operation, held since 11.30pm, at Jalan Raja Laut, Jalan Bangsar and Jalan Loke Yew. 36 motorcycles were also impounded for various offences including illegal modifications and not having valid road tax. Three motorcyclists were also detained after they were tested positive for drugs.
