Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. praised the BrahMos missile system during an exclusive interview with Firstpost Managing Editor Palki Sharma. "I have spoken to the officers and men who operate the BrahMos system and they say, 'we need more'. From the demonstrations that they have seen, from the training that they have received both in India and in the Philippines, the practice runs that they have done, they seem terribly confident in the equipment. We are in the process of actually procuring more," he said. Marcos Jr. also commended India's rapidly advancing defence sector. His remarks come as India and the Philippines vowed on Tuesday to deepen their defence partnership.
