This video outlines how adjusting the dashpot seems to have fixed the mysterious "idle dropping to 500 RPM's when coming to a stop" problem on my 1990 Toyota pickup with a 22RE motor. Also, I should note that I'm currently running my base ignition timing at 8.0 degrees BTDC (set with the diagnostic jumper installed). That seems to work better than the factory 5 degrees. Also running my plug gap at .025" and one heat range hotter. Most is largely stock, except for the LCE ported head and cam (and exhaust).
