NASA releases pics of smoke from Amazon forest fires visible from space

The wildfires spreading across the Amazon rainforest can be seen from space, according to new images released by NASA. The images were captured by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA's Aqua satellite, NASA Earth Observatory said.
