Cozy Winter Day in Osaka | Making Traditional Japanese Soup | Daily Life Vlog

Hi everyone! I’m Micchan. I live in Osaka, Japan with my husband. December has arrived in Osaka, bringing cold weather and the busiest time of year for Japanese families. In Japan, we call December "Shiwasu" (師走) - meaning even monks are running around busy! It's also the season of illuminations, warm comfort food, and year-end parties called "Bounenkai." In this vlog: 🍂 Winter rain washing away the autumn leaves 🐡 Seasonal foods(Puffer fish hot pot, Steamed crab, and Oden) 🍲 Making Kasujiru - traditional sake lees soup (a winter warmer!) 🫜 Preparing kabu (turnips) with ground chicken and yuzu 🍱 Packing my husband's bento with ginger pork Winter cooking in Japan is all about warm, comforting dishes that help you forget the year's troubles and look forward to the new year. Even though December is hectic with all the preparations, I love these cozy moments at home. Thank you for watching! Your warm comments and support mean so much to me 💕 --- 📍Location: Osaka, Japan #JapaneseHousewife #LifeInJapan #OsakaLife #WinterInJapan #JapaneseCooking #Kasujiru #DailyVlog #JapaneseFood #HomeCooking #MealPrep #DailyLifeInJapan #WinterVlog #ComfortFood #JapaneseCulture #bentomaking #pufferfish #oden
