(4 Sep 2020) Beirut marked one month since the devastating blast that killed nearly 200, injured thousands and destroyed thousands of homes in the city. Families of victims, residents, firefighters, army officials and religious figures congregated in a minute of silence to remember the victims that perished on August 4. It was the most destructive single incident in Lebanon's history with thousands of buildings, including residential homes, hospitals, schools and museums suffering considerable damage.
