The Fairly Oddparents (2001-17): Original Intro Comparison

Your wish has been granted! Here’s a look at both of the main versions of the original intro for Nickelodeon’s OTHER cash-cow cartoon of the 2000’s, The Fairly Oddparents! Like most long-running cartoon shows that premiered before HD televisions were the norm, The Fairly Oddparents started out in 4x3 before switching to high definition widescreen, specifically with its ninth season in 2013. When the change was made, the show’s opening was re-animated in widescreen, with the new version adding Poof (introduced to the show three seasons earlier) to the action. Sadly, the series used a completely different theme song for its tenth and final season, so I decided not to include that season’s opening in this video.
