Ontario’s new auto insurance rules could leave drivers underinsured, critics worry

There are major changes coming to major auto insurance policies in the new year – ones that come with a significant warning. That being that potential savings ultimately might not make coverage worth the cost in general. From caregiver and housekeeping coverage to death benefits and funeral expenses, starting July 1st, drivers may have to opt in to coverage that was previously included in their monthly costs.
