A massive cloudburst struck Chamoli’s Tharali tehsil in Uttarakhand around 2 am, sending debris into homes, markets, and official premises. A woman was buried under rubble and one man is missing. Roads are blocked by landslides, while schools in the region remain shut. Mounds of debris flooded Chepado Bazar, Kotdweep Bazar, and several houses after the Tunri Gadera stream overflowed.
