The COVID-19 crisis has exposed longstanding faults in our economy, our legal systems, and our democratic institutions. The ACLU's work to resolve these faults is now largely remote, but the nature of that work has not otherwise changed. We must continue to ensure that our response to the pandemic is grounded in science and not politicized and that civil rights and civil liberties in the Commonwealth are protected and upheld to the greatest extent possible, given the advice of public health experts.
