Things to know before you buy a Manual Transmission CompuStar Remote Start/Alarm System

Overall I'm very happy with this kit and would recommend this to others looking to add a remote start + security system to their manual transmission vehicle. These are just some points that I wish I knew about prior to the installation, to save me some frustration thinking something was wrong. A couple things I forgot to mention, first off: 1: A security system is just an extra deterrent layer, it does not stop anything from happening. Most thefts are targeted. With a two-way system you do get a notification when in range, but be safe and don't confront the potential threat, take proper care and notify the appropriate channels. 2: The t11 keyfob has an advertised 3 mile range. Now in perfect conditions I'm sure it would work the full 3 miles, but remember obstructions and other signals from different devices can have a huge impact on the actual range of your keyfob.
