Fakeaway vs Takeaway Ep 10: Crispy Chicken Burgers Who doesn’t love a good chicken burger especially with that crispy chicken & fresh lettuce But at roughly $11 for just a burger and nearly $19 for a meal sometimes 🫣 yikes That can add up very quickly! But you don’t need to completely sacrifice your favs for your budget simply make a fakaway version at home which can be just as delicious especially with a crunchy fresh bread roll 🤤🤤 How to make them: 🍔 Flatten your chicken out so it cooks eaiser & sits on your burger better 🍔 Add your herbs to your bread crumbs, I added paprika, garlic powder, onion powder & parmesan/parmigiano and oregano but pick what you like, coat chicken in egg wash & crumbs 🍔 Cook in your pan until crispy and the chicken is cooked about 5 mins each side, I don’t shallow fry mine I just add a bit of oil to the pan but you can if you like more of a crispyness 🍔 Cut your lettuce, cheese if your not using slices and your bun in 1/2 I keep it fresh not toasted 🍔 Add a tiny but of mayo each side of the bun or butter. I prefer mayo personally 🍔 Add your cooked chicken then @nandosaus peri peri sauce, cheese, lettuce & mayo on top then your bun lid And enjoy 😍😍 Make sure you follow @_ashleysplace_ & @reneegallichio along for more fakeaway recipes & comparison #ashleysplace #ashleysplacetips #cookingtips #easyrecipes #recipeshare #recipeideas #recipeidea #easyrecipesathome #easycooking #camdennsw #lovelocalcamden #macarthur #lovelocalmacarthur #recipes #fakeaway #reneeglichio #takeaway #crispychicken #crispychickenburger #burger #homemadeburger #homemade #recipe #dinner #dinnerrecipe
