7950X + 3090 Ti 1440P Warzone Fortune's Keep DDR5-6000 CL30 + Neo G8 DLSS Performance

Just scooped up AMD's newest flagship processor, the Ryzen 9 7950X. It is a beast of a chip, everything is so snappy. I've paired it with 32GB of EXPO compatible DDR5-6000 CL30. Graphics are powered by a RTX 3090 Ti and everything is being displayed on a Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 4K 240Hz panel. Here is some Call Of Duty Modern Warfare: Warzone Pacific gameplay. I'm playing Fortune's Keep Solo Rebirth in this video. Low latency mode and High bandwidth mode are enabled for the DDR5 memory. Resizable BAR is enabled. Light overclock applied through MSI Afterburner on 3090 Ti. +50 on the core clock, +500 on the memory clock. CPU is stock. I want to see stock performance before beginning to tune it. The performance is better on a 6950XT over this 3090Ti in Warzone. I was pretty underwhelmed with it here. Without DLSS, it couldn't even stay above 200 FPS. I think maybe Warzone prefers the higher clock speeds of the AMD cards. I wasn't expecting an extreme gain over the 5800X3D in gaming. In terms of average it's pretty close, but it does feel a bit smoother and stable. This is my own suspicion and I could be totally wrong, but I think AMD is hiding performance with these like they did with the X3D. I think there will be a driver update or something that will uplift the performance or a new feature, like SAM 2.0 or something. These are just my own thoughts, so take them with a grain of salt. Either way, I believe the modest gaming performance increase is completely by design. I believe this series of 7000s to be a filler episode that can compete on the multi core level, but the X3Ds are gonna come in and steal the show. I'm currently unable to use my Elgato 4K60 Pro Mk2 to record the footage in fullscreen mode, maybe the drivers are not updated to handle it yet. My computer just shuts off when I try to go fullscreen with the Elgato. If anyone has any ideas how to fix this, please let me know. I do prefer to use fullscreen mode for best performance, hopefully there's a fix soon. I used Nvidia Shadowplay to record this video. There is a small FPS loss from this. 2K QHD, 2560x1440, Competitive settings, DLSS Performance LINKS VIDEO CONTENTS 00:00 - Intro 00:57 - Showing graphics settings/Dropping in 02:37 - Kill #1 05:01 - Kill #2 06:26 - Kill #3 07:15 - Kill #4, 5 09:24 - Kill #6, 7 If you have configuration/settings questions, join my discord and shoot me a message. my username is pyurii   / discord   [PC SPECS] CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X GPU: EVGA Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 Ti FTW3 Ultra 24GB MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte X670E Aorus Xtreme RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 6000MHz CL30 STORAGE: Samsung 980 Pro 1TB PSU: Be Quiet!
