It remains to be seen how Tantalus Games' HD remaster will perform on the Wii U. They swapped out some textures, boosted the resolution to 1080p@30FPS, increased the brightness, added amiibo support, including the new Wolf Link amiibo, which unlocks a new dungeon, the Shadow Cave. They gave experienced players a Hero Mode where you take double damage and can't find hearts. They used the gamepad like in Wind Waker HD. They optimized a few minor details, but neglected to add dynamic shadows, add an orchestral soundtrack, and fix known bugs. In any case, "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" is a brilliant game, regardless of whether you're playing the GCN, Wii, or Wii U version.
