Chandler police shoot and kill burglary suspect

Authorities are investigating after Chandler police shot and killed a man suspected in a burglary. According to police, when officers were outside the home the alleged burglar opened the garage, saw officers, and ran into the home. The man then entered the backyard, allegedly armed with a rifle. Police say the man refused to listen to commands to drop the weapon, and that's when two officers opened fire.
