This morning, in the House, I asked the following question of Michael Gove, the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, about access to stewardship and environmental schemes for farmers in North West Durham: "Can the Minister give an assurance that post-withdrawal from the European Union, farmers in North West Durham will have a clear and accessible route to apply for stewardship and environmental schemes, because at the moment the process is arduous and complex?"
