I recall a morning where I was listening to the song “Wildflowers” by Tom Petty. This particular morning I was sitting outside with the bright Florida sun streaming down on me. The world around me all felt at peace, and I had an overwhelming feeling of freedom. Tho I had heard the song countless times, it was like every word came to life and took on new meaning to me. Those words inspired this piece.
