If you reach the 120 stars with both, a 121st star is unlocked. This milestone in video game history was released on November 16, 2007. With a metascore of 97%, Nintendo has finally proven once again that they're capable of something. Mario Galaxy set new standards in its genre and thrilled all critics. The sales figures also reflected this. Over 12.2 million people wanted to own the game.
