Today's Saint of the Day, January 26 ✝️ Saint Titus and Saint Timothy ✝️ @difundiendolapalabra Every January 26, the day after the Conversion of Saint Paul, the Catholic Church celebrates Saints Titus and Timothy, close friends and disciples of the Apostle to the Gentiles. Titus and Timothy were in charge of the Christian communities on the island of Crete and in Ephesus, respectively. Three of the letters attributed to Saint Paul were addressed to them: the First and Second Epistles to Timothy, and the Epistle to Titus. These letters are part of the Pauline Epistles and are included in the collection of books that make up the New Testament. In 1969, the calendar of saints (commonly known as the "calendar of saints") was reformed by order of Pope Saint Paul VI.
