According to the Korea Expressway Corporation... traffic flow on most major expressways are at its slowest... since the eve of this holiday period. Brace yourself for a 7-hour journey if you′re driving from Seoul to Busan. It′ll take 5 hours and 20 minutes to get to Gwangju from Seoul. If you′re leaving the capital for Mokpo, enjoy your 5-and-a-half-hour roadtrip. Departing from Seoul bound for Daegu: 6-hours and 10 minutes. Seoulites headed for Gangneung are in luck it should only take about 4 and a half hours behind the wheel to get there. Similar conditions are estimated for most Seoul-bound expressways.
